Has the Secretary of Health and Human Services set limitations on the maximum allowable transmission size of an X12N transaction?

The Secretary has not set standards for transmission size. Receiving trading partners may have system limitations as to the size of the transmission they can receive. The maximum transmission size is to be negotiated by submitters and receivers of the standards through trading partner agreements.
