The Office of Disability, Aging and Long-Term Care Policy (DALTCP) is charged with developing, analyzing, evaluating and coordinating HHS policies and programs which support the independence, productivity, health and long-term care needs of children, working age adults and older persons with disabilities. DALTCP is in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Information can be obtained from this site in many different ways:

• The What's New section includes reports that have become available from our office in the past 12 months. [ March 3, 2003]

• The Research Projects section describes research currently being conducted by and/or for DALTCP, as well as research completed in the past five years. [ February 25, 2003]

• The Reports section describes reports produced through DALTCP-funded research projects or through research done directly by DALTCP staff. [ March 3, 2003]

• To learn more about disability, aging or long-term care, in general, check out the Glossary [ May 15, 2002] or Acronyms sections.

• The FAQ and Links [ September 26, 2002] sections can lead you outside DALTCP to find those answers you cannot locate from us. You can also email us at Webmaster.DALTCP@hhs.gov to further information.
