MANAGED CARE ISSUE FORUM
The first Building Bridges Forum, designed for HHS employees, will focus on managed care initiatives, research and
implications for the Department and our partners. Secretary Shalala will initiate the
first issue forum with a welcome from the Humphrey Building in Washinton, DC. The panel
presentation including health care leaders from HHS and the managed care industry will
originate from the HCFA Building in Baltimore. Using the new video bridge to connect
conference rooms across the Department, 15 sites will be linked to allow for
feedback and questions from regional and OPDIV sites across the country.
